Position Description

The Colorado Civic Engagement Roundtable seeks a temporary full-time Program Manager to oversee our voter registration work from March through November 15, 2018. This position is located in Denver, Colorado and will require limited travel within the Denver Metro Area as well as few trips to Colorado Springs and Pueblo. We seek a talented leader with a record of success leading, facilitating, and managing civic engagement coalitions. The Voter Registration Program Manager will convene voter registration work groups, providing training and support to partners as well as oversee the quality control process. This position reports to the Deputy Director. 



  • Support voter registration site allocation and negotiation. 

  • Manage and support groups to ensure goals and benchmarks are being met. 

  • Analyze reports and communicate and troubleshoot all issues with groups. 

  • Oversee quality control process, including occasionally performing visual inspection on voter registration forms, and tracking certified mailings of forms. 

  • Regular check in with all voter registrations groups. 



  • Understanding of and experience with organizing and non-partisan voter engagement work and/or at least 2-3 years’ experience in either candidate or issue-based campaigns. 

  • Diplomatic, professional approach to problem-solving with partners and the ability to think independently and creatively. 

  • Ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences. 

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, oral and written communications skills and ability to meet deadlines with several projects at a time. 

  • Must be a self-starter; willing to work sometimes long, irregular hours and to travel as needed.  

  • Ability to work in a coalition setting, delivering results from a diverse set of stakeholders that you do not directly oversee. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as ability to use Google Docs; 

  • Ability to learn and utilize online data base interfaces; 

  • Commitment to a non-partisan, civic engagement based agenda; 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple communities and in diverse settings. 

  • Spanish language skills a plus.
